However it had a weird raised bump(?) In the middle that made candle placement in the holder tricky,that's why I gave it 4 stars. Then my little granddaughter admired it and thought it looked like Hedwig from Harry Potter. So she now owns the candle holder,I gave it to her lol.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Adorable I am obsessed with this jar holder. It goes well with the owl meltcup warmer so they can both sit on my bookcase and I can use either one. I like that the front is pierced and the back is open to allow it to light up the wall behind it. I generally find that the meltcups throw more scent but there is nothing like the coziness of a candle flickering. This allows you to see the candle flickering while also being decorative. The bottom is FLAT. I know other jar holders I've purchased in the past have had a weird bump in the middle that forced the candles to sit at an angle. That is not an issue with this one. There is also a fair amount of space around the candle so you can decide how close or far you want the candle to be from the owl or from the wall.
