Halloween Scent is More Scarce Than Scary
The fragrance notes for this were so on-point with my favorites that I didn't see how I could go wrong buying it. Sadly, I have to agree with the reviewers who have said it has no throw. It smells good in the jar, but when you light it....nothing.... and this is a 2-wick candle, which should boost the throw. Introduced for Halloween, it's a "scarce" scent rather than a "scary" scent. :(

Extremely weak when lit and burned very fast
This is one of those candles I wanted to love, but it ended up being a huge disappointment. When you open the lid it actually smells fairly strong and if the lid is left off it still smells nice and strong. The biggest issue for us is that once lit you can barely smell anything. Like practically nothing. The other problem was that it seemed to burn much quicker than the other candles we purchased. We got this one along with 2 other Halloween candles and 3 fall candles. We’ve so far gone through 1 Halloween and 2 fall candles and this Boonana one is by far the weakest and disappearing the fastest. If you like any scented candles that fill rooms, even bedrooms, I’d pass on this one.

Smells nice, very subtle.
I bought this candle a week ago and it’s smells really good. It’s a very subtle and sweet banana smell, kinda like a super light banana bread. Now with that being said, I find that the quality of Yankee Candles has gone down dramatically. I used to rave about your candles but now they are cheaply made, the wax doesn’t even last that long. I only got a week out of a candle that should have lasted a month. Slightly disappointed.
