Several friends who stopped by mentioned it smelled like gummy bears, candy, etc. Not the overall fragrance I was looking for, but I can see that many enjoy this. Like some reviewers noted, it did smell a bit like cherry cough syrup. But I moved the candle into a larger room and that improved my experience with this scent quite a bit. The scent felt softer and the cough syrupyness faded in a larger space. I came to enjoy this scent, despite a negative first impression.

If you like sweet, woody, flowery - everyone seems to like this candle. This candle is designed for winter, but I think you can enjoy it year-round, if you really have the desire.
