Rated 3 out of 5 by from Smells great but only on cold scent I bought this item recently and absolutely loved the fragrance prior to burning it. It reminds me of a day at the spa, quite soothing. The scent was strong which is a good thing, however, it was a bit too overpowering and made me nauseated. I tried returning it WITH a receipt but found out from the manager at my local store (Yankee Candle at Levis Commons in Perrysburg, Ohio) that since I burned it (even one time) it could only be exchanged. I exchanged it but the older women whom I believe is the manager had an attitude when I asked for my money back instead, acting like I was suspicious. She didn’t apologize about my candle experience or kindly explain their return policy. She rudely said “you can’t return this. You can only exchange it.” She didn’t help me in any way, just stood behind the counter waiting for my reaction. In the future I’ll do my best to steer clear of her and instead interact with the other employees who are always friendly and helpful.

This candle has simple, chic, and sturdy packaging. It has a heavy glass container and a metal lid. The scent is so nice and relaxing. Perfect for a bathroom or spa area. The scent is noticeable and fills a generous space but is not over-powering. I would recommend this candle.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Fresh aroma for a smaller space The Aloe/Agave scent is fresh and botanical smelling, which is nice for all year round. The 4.3oz size is great size for a smaller room, but the aroma can get a little lost in a larger space. The wax doesn’t melt too quickly, so the longevity should be pretty good if used in a smaller room especially. If you are looking to get a fresher scent, but don’t want it to be overwhelming, go for this scent.

The scent is really strong, so I light it just for a little while so I don’t get too dizzy. Definitely permeates a small space.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Fresh with moderate throw Nice small candle with decent throw! I usually buy 3 wicks but was sent this one for free to try. The throw is about 6-7 feet in diameter I'd say. It doesn't fill up my entire living room, so if that's what you're after I'd choose a 3 wick or another scent possibly. This scent is fresh and ever so slightly sweet. I didn't know what to expect with aloe, but the smell makes you think of fresh rain on plants, and the agave sweetens it a little. I wouldn't call it soapy, but I could see this as a soap if that makes sense. Overall I would recommend this to those who don't like strong scents but still wants their house to smell nice.

Its my go to store for all my candle needs. I was very excited that i got chosen to review these candles. Upon first smell of the Aloe &Agave candle the smell is phenomenal. Its a sweet clean smell and is good for burning in the bathroom or living room. The small candle lasts for quite a few days before it runs out.
