This candle kept being put on sale all summer long because it does not sell well because it was not made strong enough for anyone to really enjoy or smell. Sorry Yankee candle but this falls short of expectations of a good candle to burn

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Candles burn black soot I've been a Yankee Candle purchaser for many years and I've enjoyed the fragrances and he service in the stores. Recently I've become disenchanted with the amount of black soot they generate. It's unacceptable, unattractive and something I can't abide by. Once I use my current supply, I won't be purchasing any more until this formula changes and this is no longer an issue. I've purchased lots accessories like the jar toppers and they absorb the soot which is why I hadn't noticed so much before. This candle doesn't fit the toppers and instead I had it in one of the lantern holders. Please see my pics.

It is a soft, soothing scent and is burning wonderfully. The photo on the label is beautiful too! I highly recommend it!

I heard that this candle was being discontinued for Lemon Lavender (which honestly smells like cleaning solution, sorry!) and I really hope it's not true. I hope this scent stays around forever because it is the most relaxing perfect blend of soothing lavender and sweet vanilla and I will be buying this candle for the rest of my life.
